Digital Justice Question 4: Dedicated City digital inclusion leadership

None of the proposals we’re making to the candidates are likely to be implemented by the next Administration and Council unless there’s someone at the highest level at City Hall whose only job is to make them happen.

That’s why the final question the Cleveland Digital Justice Campaign wants the candidates to answer is this:

As Mayor or a Member of City Council of the City of Cleveland, will you propose and support the creation of a new Cabinet-level executive position, in the 2018 budget year or earlier, dedicated solely to leading City efforts to promote universal digital literacy and broadband Internet access — starting with the proposals described in Questions 1, 2 and 3?
